Jim was ( June 2012 - 2017) the Coordinator of Operations Shelter Net BC responsible for training 6260 staff at 180 Agencies that work with the homeless sector, weather that be Homeless Shelters, drop in centers, Friendship centers, Womens Transition Houses or any of the many outreach organizations. Shelter Net BC, Merged with the Greater Vancouver Shelter Strategy (Nov. 2017) to become a new Organization called the Homelessness Services Association of BC.  Now Jim is the Coordinator of Training and Membership for this organization and has built membership now to 250 members with over 13000 staff!!

Jim is the logistics person who books the training's into the eight major regions (To 13000 staff) of the Province of British Columbia. Because of COVID 19 (2020) all trainings are live online!!

All presentations have been halted because of COVID - 19 until further notice, Up Date: Jim has been doing presentaions via Zoom for Schools and is available for anyone who contacts him.

Criminology, Education,Child Development Classes (Police Officers, Prison Guards, Border Guards, Probation Officers, Teachers, Social Workers, Psychologist)
Kwantlan Polytechnic University on: "The Development of Empathy."   Fall 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.


Jim will be giving presentations in Lower Mainland Schools, also presenting to Boys Scouts - North and West Vancouver and at the Burnaby Youth Custody Centre - Youth Prison (14 to 17 year olds) from Sept. 10th 2014 to the present, telling his story to kids.
