Jim was ( June 2012 - to present) the Coordinator of Training and Membership for Homelessness Services Association of BC responsible for the training of1000's of staff at 290 Agencies that work with the homeless sector, weather that be Homeless Shelters, drop in centres, Friendship centres, Women's Transition Houses or any of the many outreach organizations.
Jim is the logistics person who , listens to what the members need, finds trainers, creates the training's in partnership and books these training's into the eight major regions of the Province of British Columbia, through Zoom and in person training!!
New Development:
2023; Fiore Films is close to completing a documentary called; "Invisible No More" a film on the reintegration of prisoners that have suffered traumatic brain injuries coming back into society and some of the process to fit in. It is featuring Jim Mandelin and two other victims of traumatic brain injury and their stories. As one of those prisoners who have had to overcome my brain injuries and to reintegrate back into society! We tell our stories!! Premiering October 2023
