Sometimes people use the Bible to justify their "bullying practices" as was the case in Jim Mandelin's life.
Here is the Bible verse that created so much pain for Jim and the family used to justify their actions. Bullying has caused the death to many of my friends and family. My Grandfather, Uncle and nephew have all been bullied and have taken their own lives. I have 26 friends at last count, two in the last 6 months who have taken their own lives. The song above describes how I feel on this very day, April 25th 2014. I miss my family and friends.
What is bullying?
Bullying is: All child abuse is bullying. All racism, sexism and homophobia is bullying. Making fun of, teasing, hitting, grabbing, slapping, punching, pinching, pushing, shoving, or using cyber space to hurt or humiliate or harass or calling ANYONE put down type names is all bullying. The sexual exploitation of children is bullying. Spousal abuse is bullying. War is bullying. When governments cut funding to needed social programs this is bullying, not prudence. When CEO's of Corporations make decisions that take jobs away from people who depend on those jobs to take care of their families and they do it to increase the company's profits, this is a form of bullying. These same CEO's then get large bonuses for doing this.
